Antique Mission Style Oak Desk

This beautiful solid oak desk circa 1910 is a nice example of the mission styling of furniture which was hugely popular around the turn of the century.

This desk has been through a complete restoration by Carriage House of Ottawa which carefully chooses its finishing materials when restoring older furniture. They adhere to the higher standards of construction and materials used in early furniture production, quarter cut oak present in this piece.

There are many nice features on this desk, there is quarter cut oak present, the lovely patina shows the age. Also, the hardware on this desk is not original. Overall a stunning piece.
