British Invasion - Vintage Variety Show Posters
For many old concert posters the process of creating tour blanks was used because color printing was an expensive process, it would was costly for local promoters to design and print their own posters for one or two shows.
The touring company would design a concert poster ahead of time, leaving a blank space at the top or bottom.
One poster is for Norman Wisdom who was an English comedian, singer, songwriter, actor and musician during the 1970's.
The other is for the stage adaptation of Jack & the Beanstalk which is acted out in traditional English pantomime.
